H.G. Wells considered the Great Library at Alexandria as
the world's first university. While other scholars disagree, Wells'
point has merit. Where do people go for refereed knowledge when they
have urgent questions, in any or all fields?
One of the most urgent questions facing American parents
is how to ensure that one's child develops intellectually and
emotionally according to the child's own inner "True Calling"?
A Parenting Workshop cab conducted in the library (and
elsewhere in the United States and, indeed, around the world). There is
no cost to library for this Workshop.

"How
Parents can help Children
Boost Their IQ Scores"* |
| Date: |

| Sponsored by: |
TBA |
| Rationale: |
Children's IQs fluctuate widely. If a child
sustains his/her IQ above
120 he/she will be eligible for a state university; if the IQ is
sustained above 132 a scholarship or admission to an elite university
is probable, thus potentially saving the parents the tuition costs,
around $100,000.
For every IQ point gained the child's future
income increases by about $1000 per year, or $400,000 over a lifetime
if the gain is ten points.
